Luc Van Esch founded HostYou in Zonhoven. From the very beginning, the company has focused on domain names, hosting, and internet services for both residential and business customers.
From the very beginning, HostYou has chosen to house its infrastructure in a professional data center in Brussels (Vilvoorde). This decision forms the foundation for stable, secure, and scalable service delivery.
With the arrival of Marijn Schops as its first employee, HostYou is taking an important step in the further expansion of its operations. Its growing customer base requires additional expertise and support.
After years of development, HostYou is launching its own Sycro Content Management System. The platform offers customers a user-friendly solution that allows them to easily manage their own websites.

To enable future growth and further optimize its services, the infrastructure is moving to a modern data center in Zaventem. This will allow HostYou to offer its customers even greater reliability and capacity.
Due to its continued growth, HostYou is moving to a new location in Bolderberg, Zolder. The additional space will support both the company’s day-to-day operations and its further development.
On June 1, 2017, HostYou was acquired by Bart Bylemans of BNS. This move creates a powerful combination of expertise in hosting, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.

In September 2021, BNS and HostYou spun off from the Essec Group. This step marks the beginning of a new phase, in which both organizations will continue to chart their own course and invest in innovation, service, and sustainable growth.

In 2022, HostYou and BNS moved to their current location in Alken. The modern work environment provides room for further growth and future developments.
By obtaining ISO 27001:2013-certification, HostYou and BNS demonstrate that information security is structurally embedded in their operations. In 2025, this certification was successfully renewed in accordance with the most recent ISO 27001:2022-standard.
HostYou has registered for the NIS2 Essentials program with the Belgian Cybersecurity Center (CCB). In doing so, the company reaffirms its commitment to complying with the latest guidelines on cybersecurity, risk management, and digital resilience.
